CPIFA and US-Asia Institute Co-host the Virtual Visit of the US Congressional Black Caucus Staffers

On December 14, the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA) and the US-Asia Institute co-hosted a Virtual Visit of the US Congressional Black Caucus Staffers by organizing a video discussion with 4 Chinese scholars, namely Prof. Wang Dong, Deputy Director of the Office for Humanities and Social Sciences and Executive Director of the Institute for Global Cooperation and Understanding, Peking University, Dr. Zhou Mi, CPIFA Council Member, Deputy Director of the Institute of American and Oceanian Studies, Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation, Dr. Zhang Da, Associate Professor of the Institute of Energy, Environment, and Economy at Tsinghua University and Dr. Gong Ting, Associate Research Fellow, Department for American Studies of the China Institute of International Studies. The two sides exchanged views on issues such as US-China relations, US-China economic and trade cooperation and climate change. Amb. Zhao Weiping, Vice President of the CPIFA chaired the discussion.
