The Delegation of Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly, the Republic of Suriname headed by Mr. Andre Misiekaba, Chairman of the Coalition of the ruling Parties in the National Assembly and its Foreign Affairs Committee,visited Beijing and Xiamen from September 14 to 20.

During their visit in Beijing, Ms. Fu Ying, Chairwoman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, National People’s Congress, Mr. Qin Gang, Assistant Minister, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ms. OU Boqian, Vice President of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Wei Qiang, Director General, the International Department, Central Committee of CPC met with or held a banquet for the delegation respectively. The delegation visited China Harbour Engineering Co., Ltd and Huawei Beijing. In Xiamen, Mr. Chen Qiuxiong, Deputy Secretary of Xiamen Municipal Party Committee met with and held a banquet for the delegation. The delegation attended Xiamen International Investment Forum 2017 and visited Yinlu Foods Group and Xiament Blue Bay Science & Technology Co., Ltd.

The delegation spoke highly of China’s economic and social achievements. They wish to learn from China’s experience and strengthen
economic and trade relations and other cooperation with China.
