At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs, the Belgian delegation, composed of mayors from six cities of Limburg and West-Flanders of Flemish Region, visited Beijing, Xi’an and Jinan from 11th to 16th December. During the visit, Mr. Shangguan Jiqing, Mayor of Xi’an, Mr. Liang Jianquan, Vice-President of CPIFA, and Mme Gong Xianqun, Vice-President of Standing Committee of Jinan People’s Congress, met with the delegation respectively. The delegation also paid visits to Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank, China Tibetology Research Center, Shandong Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, Shandong Foreign Affairs Office and visited Xi’an International Trade and Logistics Park and Pharmaceutics Valley of Jinan High-Tech zone. At the Shandong Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, they presented a commemorative plate to the descendant of a Chinese labor during the First World War.
