On September 7, the 7th Meeting of China-Australia High Level Dialogue, co-hosted by the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA) and the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations, was held in Beijing. Li Zhaoxing, Honorary President of the CPIFA and Hon. Craig Emerson, former Trade Minister of Australia headed the Chinese and Australian delegation respectively. 36 delegates of the two countries from political, business, academic and media fields conducted in-depth and constructive discussions on bilateral relations, economic and trade cooperation, international and regional issues as well as people to people exchanges.
