On October 25th, Amb. Li Jie, Vice President of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), met with Dr. Barham Ahmed Salih, former President of the Republic of Iraq, who was in China to attend the 7th Annual Conference of the Taihu World Cultural Forum.
The two sides exchanged views on bilateral relations, the situation in the Middle East, the trend of globalization and topics of common interest.
