On November 3, 2023, the opening ceremony of Beijing Forum 2023 was held in Beijing. Mme. Shi Ling, Vice President of Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs attended the event. The theme of Beijing Forum 2023 is “The Harmony of Civilizations and Prosperity for All—Inheritance and Mutual Learning”. Participants from China and other countries exchanged views on Chinese Path to Modernization and Global Economic Development, International Cooperation and Global governance in the Era of Uncertainty and other topics.
 
The Beijing Forum is an international academic event co-organized by Peking University, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education and Chey Institute for Advanced Studies. The Forum has been held for 20 years annually.
